December in Venice is unique: on sunny days alternate with misty, the sea is gray steel, the transparent emerald, moist chilling cold in the morning to the bone, so I have to wrap up in a warm scarf, cold, and in the evening when the darkness coming back through the deserted streets to the hotel, and the sound of hasty steps echo reflected from the stone walls.
